Product Description

Vitamin D & Health in Europe: current and future perspectives is an international scientific conference which is being hosted by the Cork Centre for Vitamin D and Nutrition Research.

The conference will be held on the 5th-6th September 2017 at University College Cork in the south of Ireland. The programme focuses on presenting the exciting findings that have emerged from the EC-funded ODIN project as well as learning from internationally-renowned scientists and their research into vitamin D and health.

The aim of Vitamin D & Health in Europe: current and future perspectives is to update participants with current vitamin D research in Europe, particularly in relation to the central themes of the ODIN project, vitamin D deficiency prevention through food fortification and bio-fortification, and vitamin D and health throughout the life-course.

Our wish is that this meeting will be a supportive forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas between researchers and the food sector, to support innovative solutions for public health.
