Then this Symposium is for you! Take a step in the right direction and join us in the beautiful surroundings of University College Cork and its marvellous auditorium, the Aula Maxima.
It will be a worthwhile experience for both students and academic professionals, with informative and stimulating presentations, discussions and workshops suited to all disciplines within the Healthcare profession.

The theme of this Symposium is:

Enhancing the transition to clinical placement in the digital age, through the use of ePortfolio, Digital Resources and positive and supportive inter professional and inter-institutional collaboration.

 ePortfolio – Learning Together – Working Together – Reflection – Into the future

The aim of this Symposium is to provide information about the future challenges for professional practice in the fast-paced digital age, identify problems, and highlight solutions in order to enhance placement learning and step towards inter-professional Healthcare.

It will focus on the transition to clinical placement, how digital media is helping to ease the transition and develop the skills that apply across the professions, with presentations on:

• Enhancing placement learning in healthcare
• Easing transition to professional practice
• Embedding inter-professional education
• There will also be parallel workshops.

Keynote address by leading author Dr David Pearson Co-Author of “How to Succeed on Primary Care and Community”

The event is being organised by the ePrePP project, which is funded by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning and is a collaborative venture between UCC, TCD, IT Tralee, UL, UCD and NUIG.
Details of a peer-reviewed online poster competition will be sent to registered attendees, with the winners announced on the day.
Certificates of Attendance will be awarded on the day and Digital Badges will be awarded to attendees that meet the Badge criteria.
