Biomethane offers plentiful benefits including clean energy production, mitigating climate change, and global warming. However, the problem is that it must economically compete against established fossil energy. The role of policy and governance play a pivotal role in incentivizing and promoting this technology. This workshop highlights the role of incentivizing Biomethane in Ireland with a focus on policy initiatives across the EU.
