Product Description

‌University College Cork School of Pharmacy is delighted to host the 39th All-Ireland Schools of Pharmacy Conference, which will take place between the 24th and 25th April 2017.

This annual event attracts its audience from across the research fields within the five Schools of Pharmacy on the island of Ireland. It facilitates knowledge sharing and encourages cross school collaborations.

This conference affords our MSc / PhD postgraduate students an early career opportunity to present their research findings in a supportive collaborative environment of their peers and academic mentors. Indeed, for many of us in the audience this conference was our rite of passage enabling us to break out of our laboratories and foster new friendships with our counterparts in other Schools of Pharmacy.

The format of this conference is a series of short oral and poster presentations on all aspects of pharmacy research from pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacology to drug delivery and clinical practice. The comprehensive programme will include two invited keynote speakers, Professors Patricia Kearney (Department of Epidemiology & Public Health) and Joe Eustace (HRB Clinical Research Facility). The Conference will showcase the breadth and varying ongoing research that is taking place within our Schools.
